Casey Maxted

Casey Maxted

Director of Operations

Experience: 14 years FBI
Military branch: US Army Special Forces

Casey Maxted is a native of Iowa with an extensive military and law enforcement background. Maxted began his career in the United States Army Special Forces where he earned the coveted “Green Beret.” Maxted received an honorable discharge and was hired by the Federal Bureau of Investigation in 2009 where he was assigned to the Los Angeles Division. Initially focused on Counterterrorism investigations within the Los Angeles Division, Casey’s role expanded to encompass diverse responsibilities including overseas assignments. Maxted earned multiple awards for investigative excellence including a Combat Theater Award.

Casey’s impact within the FBI spanned various roles, transitioning to lead Violent Crime investigations. This included spearheading vital operations involving gang and counternarcotic cases across Southern California, Central, and South America, Crimes Against Children, Human Trafficking investigations and Indian Country matters. Maxted served on a temporary assignment on the Attorney General Protection Detail and undertook significant positions across the Department of Justice and the Department of Defense during his career.

Rod Parr

Rod Parr

Team Manager, EMS Specialist

Experience: 38 years as EMS

Rod Parr joined the United States Marine Corps and served as an Administrative Specialist, attached to an air wing at Camp Pendelton, California. He was also stationed in Okinawa with the 3rd Marine Aircraft Group before he received an honorable discharge. Rod became an Emergency Medical Technician in 1985 and rose through the ranks to become a supervisor. He completed his EMS career with 38 years of service and is a crucial element in our team.

Rod understands the importance of teamwork and human relations. He strives to create lasting relationships and constantly strives to improve our product line.

Mike Carroll

Mike Carroll

Team Manager, SWAT Specialist

Experience: 25 years Riverside County Sheriff
Military branch: US Army

Michael Carroll enlisted in the United States Army shortly after high school and served in the 3rd Infantry Regiment (“The Old Guard”) assigned to Arlington National cemetery. After receiving an honorable discharge, he joined the Riverside County Sheriff’s Department and served in a multitude of assignments including narcotics, SWAT, and a Federal Fugitive Task Force. Mike prides himself on being prepared for any situation.

Experience: 9 years Law Enforcement
(San Diego County Sheriff & Riverside County Sheriff)

Chad Kelly, whose journey in public service began in San Diego, California, where he grew up, served proudly as a Deputy Sheriff with the San Diego County Sheriff’s Department for eight impactful years. During this time, he developed a deep-rooted commitment to protecting and serving the community that raised him.

His career took an exciting turn when he joined the San Diego Sheriff’s Department’s Unmanned Aircraft Unit. Leading various drone missions, he found a new way to contribute to the department’s mission, with utilizing cutting-edge technology to enhance public safety becoming his passion.

Later on, Chad ventured to Riverside County, a place he now calls home. Here, he has continued his dedicated service with the Riverside County Sheriff’s Department, leveraging his experience to make a positive impact on this vibrant community.

Chad is honored to have the opportunity to serve, and he looks forward to continuing to protect and uplift the communities he’s fortunate to be a part of.

Kenneth Hoon

Kenneth Hoon

Violence Education Consultant

Experience: 17 years in Law Enforcement

Ken started his law enforcement career in mid-2006, when he attended the Riverside County Sheriff’s Department Sworn Academy. After completion, he was assigned to the corrections division, working at the Larry D. Smith Correctional Facility. Shortly after, he was assigned to patrol operations in mid-Riverside County. He was selected to attend the Riverside County Sheriff’s SWAT Academy, and finished first in his class. Ken subsequently spent just under seven years on the SWAT team, and received multiple tactical and instructor certifications, as well as multiple commendations. While on the team, Ken was cross-sworn working with the United States Marshal’s Service tracking wanted fugitives across California. In mid-2016, Ken was reassigned to work on the gang enforcement unit where he served as the primary investigator on multiple high-profile cases and numerous search warrants. In 2021, Ken was promoted to Sergeant where he has worked assignments including patrol operations, Special Enforcement Team, and Gangs. In 2023, he was promoted to Lieutenant.

Ken has a lengthy career in teaching law enforcement professionals throughout California and looks forward to helping you stay safe.

Experience: Over 30 years with the Fire Service

Matthew Colvin served over 30 years with the Fire Service. He was born and raised in Salinas California by his mother, Joanne, a 9-1-1 Dispatcher.

After graduating from High School, Matt became a volunteer firefighter with the Riverside County Fire Department. He later obtained his EMT certification and worked for the Hemet Valley Ambulance Service. Matt was later hired full-time by CAL-FIRE and rose through the ranks, eventually becoming a Fire Captain.

Fire Science Specialist

Experience: 23 years Fire Service Hemet Fire Department
(Engineer-Paramedic / Arson Investigator)

Christopher Galletta began his professional fire career with the Loma Linda Fire Department. He later transferred to the Hemet Police Department and attained the rank of Engineer Paramedic. Christopher has extensive knowledge and experience in Arson investigations and takes great pride in creating response maps that keep First Responders safe.

I have 32 years of experience in the EMS field. Been a member of the tactical medical team for RSO. Have been a member of Mercy Air critical team. I am married with five children and five grandchildren. My passion has always been helping people in crisis and the safety to our EMS field.

Experience: 19 years as EMS

As a seasoned paramedic with 19 years of dedicated service in
Emergency Medical Services (EMS), I bring a wealth of experience and
expertise across various domains, including ground ambulance
operations, fire department response, and air medical transport.
Throughout my career, I have been committed to providing high-quality
and compassionate care in critical situations.

My journey in EMS began nearly two decades ago, and over the years, I
have honed my skills in responding to emergencies on the ground,
ensuring swift and effective medical interventions. As a member of the
fire department, I’ve tackled challenging situations with resilience
and a focus on saving lives and protecting communities.

In addition to my ground-based experience, I have been an integral
part of air medical transport teams, delivering rapid and specialized
care to those in remote or hard-to-reach locations. My involvement in
air medical services has further enhanced my ability to handle diverse
and complex medical scenarios.

Throughout my career, I have remained dedicated to continuous
learning, staying abreast of the latest advancements in emergency
medical practices. My commitment to professionalism, coupled with a
compassionate approach, has earned the trust of colleagues and the
gratitude of those I’ve served.

I am passionate about making a positive impact on the well-being of
individuals in crisis, and I look forward to leveraging my extensive
background in EMS to contribute to the health and safety of our
communities.
